Dave and the folks over at Indy aamco we’re EXTREMELY helpful. The kindness and care they displayed, was way beyond your typical auto shop. I’d definitely recommend them to ANYONE. Very trustworthy, and dependable.
These guys are the best! Trustworthy & Reliable. Our son has one of our cars in Chicago and he went in to get an oil change. He was massively overcharged for the oil change AND the garage told him needed his brakes fixed/replaced. My son called me and my wife and we told him to bring it home because we did not trust that assessment. WE TRUST these guys at this AAMCO. Sure enough the brakes were fine with 70% left on front and practically new on the back. They did not charge for the assessment. All we paid was $10 for a new batter for our key fab! These guys have been our 2nd opinion numerous times and saved us at least hundreds of dollars - probably more!
Has to bring my brother car to this location due to the transmission going out on his car. They diagnosed the problem in a timely manner. Once it was discovered the car needed a new transmission they were very honest in telling us that a new transmission or even a used one was going to cost significantly more than the car was worth. I appreciated their honesty and not just trying to make $. I I’d recommend anyone to use them if they are looking for good honest shop. Thank you ammaco for your honesty and hard work.
I brought my car here to have it evaluated. The transmission wasn’t acting right. Dave got me scheduled and checked in to have them take a look. They were thorough and able to provide me an estimate for repair. They were very professional and courteous. Thank you!
I Initially wrote a bad review about AAMCO, which is beneath everything I’m getting ready to say. I will say, anytime I deal with AAMCO I will be requesting Dwayne. His customer service is top notch. My experience went left once the ball was passed from Dwayne. I would also like to acknowledge the owner, Nick Deem. After addressing all of my concerns, he was more than wiling to do whatever he could to keep my business. Once I picked up my vehicle, Dwayne COURTEOUSLY explained everything that was wrong with my vehicle. I had to apologize to Dwayne, because he was GREAT from the time he answered the phone, to the time I left the shop. All I will say is; the original price I was quoted made me turn my back with no questions. Especially with the bad experience I initially had. But, by the time I got home, I received a phone call with an offer from Dwayne and Mr. Deem, that is going to make me return and spend my money at there establishment. I APPRECIATE YOU DWAYNE, and I APPRECIATE YOU MR. DEEM!!! *******PAST REVIEW****** I won’t ever go to AAMCO again! Someone recommended Edwards Transmission to me, and I should’ve listened! But, after I read all the good reviews from previous customers regarding AAMCO, I thought it would be a good idea to give them a try. Dropped my ladies car off Thursday morning at 8am for a DIAGNOSTIC, and was told I’d be called later in the day. I, MYSELF, had to call later in the day at 4:30pm, and was told by Dwayne that he’d have estimates in the morning. 2:30pm rolls around Friday afternoon, and no one EVER called. So I called and spoke with Dave, and was told I’d be called back in 45 minutes with a price break down. I NEVER received a call back from Dave. It’s now 5:20pm on Friday, they close at 5:30pm, and no one is answering the phone.The business is closed Saturday and Sunday, so now my vehicle has to sit ALL WEEKEND, and I STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR! They could’ve at least been convenient enough to inform me my ladies car will be in the shop all weekend. She has a job too, and now I have to sort out transportation for her because of the horrible service this establishment provided. I won’t recommend ANY ONE, EVER to this establishment.... EVER.
