Owner personally took care of me when parts were not available
Very good service.
They did great. It was difficult to find the issue and they did wonderfully find it. Will be back.
Great service. Great people. Saved me from an embarrassing breakdown while travelling with coworkers.
Great communication about what was going on and how to prevent future issues. Also open about cost and what are best routes to take.
Great customer service.
These guys are amazing. My truck sat at a Chevy dealer for 3 days after my transmission went out coming through town on my way back to Iowa. After getting quoted an outrageous number at the dealership, I called and spoke with Dwayne. He had my truck in there and transmission rebuilt in less than 2 days for nearly half the cost of the dealer. Without a doubt, go here!!
I initially took my car to AAMCO for transmission issues, but realized they also could fix my electrical ones as well. I was VERY impressed with how professional, efficient, and knowledgable they were in trouble shooting areas other than transmissions. All the staff were exceptionally gracious, even when I became anxious. Thank you AAMCO for a job well done!
First of all, I have the utmost respect for Dwayne. Being a mechanic myself many years ago, I very much appreciate his honesty and professionalism. Frankly, I could have done the work myself, but having limited time and such a reasonable price...... Unfortunately I am moving away, or would be his customer for life.
I needed a second opinion after a shop down the street diagnosed “a failing front fluid pump and for $500 we’ll pull the transmission and see what’s worn”. And that for a $109 fee. My issue was an annoying hum seemingly coming from the transmission on my high mileage Buick. Then AAMCO sized up the noise (for free) as a bad front wheel bearing. After I changed it out—no noise! How refreshing to know we can still find honesty and integrity in a repair shop.
I dropped my brand new car off to them and they were very nice. They listened to my frustrations about why the dealership I bought this new car from was needing to handle my situation since the car was less than 30 days old and already in need of repairs. Since I was going through warranty they were only running diagnostics but seemed to find more underlying issues holding up the process. Then we hit the snag of they had been calling the wrong phone number trying to reach me when I had been waiting for nearly a week and a half for a response. I tried to trust the process and allow them to do their work without bugging them. Ultimately when I decided I should call and check in they completely updated me with everything they had been needing to say and e-mailed me a detailed report so that I could talk to the dealership and warranty company with exact information. It was very helpful. Although they were not given the opportunity to actually fix my car I’m sure they could have done a wonderful job and been done if the dealership wasn’t being a jerk. Thank you guys at AAMCO we appreciate your help!
